  • NOT REAL ART “Beyond Likeness”

    • My work “Confined 1” was included into this exhibition that investigates self-portraiture that explores gender roles, stereotypes, and identity amidst a social media dominated era. The term moving beyond likeness derives from the artist offering glimpses into the self on a deeper level.

  • The Awakening Magazine

    • I was accepted into The Awakening Magazine’s second-anniversary issue. The Awakening Magazine is a local-run Oxnard-based art magazine showcasing artists.

  • Munzón Gallery “In The Now”

    • A group show exhibiting works by new and emerging artists who represent the spirit of our time and current contemporary art scene. I showcased my 18” x 24” piece, “Indoctrination” and 16” x 20” “Suplicando con la Muerte”. All pieces sold out.

  •  Don’t Shoot Portland: Juneteenth Art & Activism Youth Workshop

    • I was invited to volunteer for this printmaking & zine workshop for youth where I taught elementary through high school age groups how to screenprint, risograph, & make zines while fostering a dialogue around racial justice & equality.

  • LATV Queer Network Interview & Artist Feature: “Mas Que Pride”

    • LATV Queer interviewed my artistic process & we had a televised conversation about my experiences as a Latinx queer artist.

  • Q Plus Project Art Show: LGBTQ+ Educators of California

    • I participated in a wonderful project curated by Carlos “Carla” J. Ramirez showcasing the voices and stories of queer educators in California. This event was hosted at Cal State Long Beach.

  • Long Beach Creative Group & Rod Briggs Memorial Gallery “Inspired By…”

    • Inspired By was a group show where I displayed a 12” x 16” printmaking piece, “Don’t Wanna Be Your Fucking Baby Girl” reflecting my contempt as a young woman with a hysterectomy.

September 2022

  • Las Laguna Art Gallery “Women in Art”

    • Women in Art showcased all-female artists in a group show. My painting “Convalescence”, an 18” x 24” oil painting depicting the sensation of not being fully present in your own life, was shown.

July 2022

  • Shockboxx Gallery “No Man’s Land”

    • No Man’s Land was an all-female group show where I showcased a piece from my series, “Confined”. The piece was a 20” x 16” oil painting on wood exploring the feelings of isolation associated with PTSD.
